Engineering Design · Rose-Hulman · Class of 2030
I'm a hands-on builder who loves the part of a project where it doesn't work yet. I've developed smart activewear for a wearable-tech startup, built lunar terrain for an MIT CubeSat challenge, and helped rebuild a wrecked Jeep. I love iterating on a problem until I understand it.

I'm an Engineering Design major at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, pursuing a minor in entrepreneurship. I love building, creating, and designing, especially figuring out why something doesn't work and then making it better.
I'm especially drawn to cars and the automotive industry. I was incredibly lucky to attend a high school with an auto shop, and I thoroughly enjoyed my two years in its program and classes. I'm currently designing a toy for kids with disabilities, in partnership with REACH, through my Studio 1 class. I see real value in physical goods, love things that are well crafted, and hope to one day design the products I enjoy working with.
Outside the classroom, I've sewn for over a decade, entirely self-taught. Sewing taught me patterning, tolerances, material behavior, and a lot of patience, all of which I use in my engineering work.
Engineering Design is Rose-Hulman's ABET-accredited broad engineering major. It combines mechanical and electrical hardware design with software, with a strong focus on product design, development, and user experience.
This year in Studio 1 I'm gaining experience in CAD, Java, 3D printing, and real project work.

Aerospace, automotive, woodworking, and wearable-tech projects: hands-on builds where I designed, fabricated, and iterated.
Twelve years of self-taught sewing: self-drafted patterns, formalwear, tailoring, and costumes. Every piece here I designed and sewed myself.
Education, awards, and experience at a glance.
I'm looking for hands-on internships for Summer 2027: product design, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, machine shops, and anywhere else I get to build.
